BridgePads
Our BridgePads have arrived. They were successfully tested on Wednesday afternoon, thanks to a lot of over night work by Richard Lightfoot. There are a couple of wrinkles to sort out but they are in general working well.
They will be in use whenever there is member present who is confident enough to use them.
2007 Laws
In line with the AEB, this Club will adopt the new Laws from September 30th 2008.
The Directors will be issuing advice to members shortly before implementation.
There is a full copy of the new Laws in the Club for reference.
AUGUST TOURNAMENTS
May we remind you all that, following our AGM Resolution, Tournaments during August will be held at 2.30 pm and 6.30 pm.
These Tournaments will take place Mondays to Fridays, with the exception of Thursdays, when the 2.30 Tournament is omitted
The Javea Bridge Club is a long established (1976) Club where the members pride themselves on the club's reputation for good bridge played in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The club premises were purchased by the club in September 2006 and no expense has been spared to make the surroundings and playing environment amongst the best on the Costa Blanca.
If you are looking for a game of bridge while on holiday or searching for a club to join, you have found it.
If you are thinking of taking up this fascinating game, we offer tuition for beginners by knowledgeable and experienced teachers. Or alternatively if you are already a player we can offer "workshop" type tuition to help your game improve.
